About Emily

Dreaming up stories before she could even write, Emily was born and raised in the Bluegrass and moved to central Ohio after completing her M.A. in Anthropology. She loves weaving romance with thrills and suspense (and maybe a touch of horror). She attributes her penchant for darkness to ghost stories, true crime, and daydreaming about Dallas Winston after reading The Outsiders in the 7th grade. When she's not writing, you can find her spending time with her family and talking to the ghosts in her 100-year-old farmhouse.
